Jubilee Field Spring Tidy - tomorrow
Volunteers needed! Join us on Saturday 25th April, tomorrow, at 10.00 pm by the village hall to help with the spring tidy of Jubilee Field. Bring along any tools, wheelbarrows, and gloves you can spare. Together, we’ll spruce up the area and clear walkways and other spots that need a bit of care. The tidy-up will depend on the weather, so let’s hope for a sunny day!

Churchyard Working Party – 2 May. The next working party will be on Saturday May 2nd, when we gather to tidy up the churchyard. Please bring gloves and any suitable tools. There will be refreshments at half time! All are very welcome.

St Mary’s Annual Parochial Church Meeting - Wednesday 6 May. Our St Mary's Uffington APCM (Annual Parochial Church Meeting) is on 6th May in Church at 7pm. It is a great chance to review the year and to look ahead also. We have a good and loyal PCC and would welcome any new joiners. If you are supportive of the work of the Church of England, and/or just interested in what we do, you would be most welcome at that meeting to find out more about us!

GENERAL
Bill Mattingley Funeral Details. Bill`s final journey will leave here on Monday 11th May, have a trip round the village and leave this world at 10.45 at Kingsdown Crematorium, Swindon. The service will be live streamed for those that cannot attend but all are welcome to help us wave him off at the crem. Details of the live streaming will be on the J Godfrey & Son Funeral Services website I believe, nearer the time, and people, if they kindly wish to make a donation, can also do this there if they cannot attend. I am sure many a memory of Bill growing up in Uffington will come to light or how he got into some scraps whilst helping people out, then please do pass them on, because we would love to hear them.
Family flowers only however if anyone would wish to make a donation that would be lovely and will be passed on to Cancer Research. Wake details to follow.
