Prune the Yew to gain approximately 1 to 2m clearance from the service cable to Church Cottage, Which during windy days is placing the cable under tension and loosening the bracket on the side of the property. Uffington Museum - Monday 12 October - The Landscape Detective. A talk on Monday 12 October by Jane Golding.
Have you ever wondered why a road bends the way it does, or why a field has those curious lumps and bumps? Using examples from across the Vale of White Horse, our very own Jane Golding will guide us on a journey through landscapes shaped by people over time, helping us uncover the rich stories they hold. Enjoy discovering their secrets as we explore, ask questions of the landscape, and unravel clues to its past.
